Proprietary algorithms 

At the very heart of the production process, Boltenstern’s distinctiveness stands in its capacity to make use of proprietary mathematical algorithms to create extraordinarily complex shapes or geometrical structures on a 3D interface. The coding itself is far from straightforward, thus the process can take anywhere from a couple of months to several years. 

 MANUFACTURING PROCESS

Direct 3D printed collections go under a special manufacturing process. Once the design has been coded, the code files are fed directly to 3D printers to initiate the manufacturing process. Inside the 3D printers, the raw powder, whether light polyamide, gold or silver, is melted together layer by layer, finally giving life to the desired shape. 

Last Touch

All pieces from our collections are hand-finished and polished by our in-house skilled goldsmiths, at last resulting in iconic pieces that simply can’t be found anywhere else.
